26 Oct 2003 - Open evening

On the 26th October Lickey Hills Primary School on Old Birmingham road had their Open evening. At Open evening there are lots of different things going on around the school. In the I.C.T room there was I.C.T skills with Miss Jones. In some of the class rooms you could do sewing or write a Tudor letter with ink and a feather, that was a bit messy! But out of all the things that was going on everyone like the cakes best!
We went around asking people what they thought of Open evening and what they have been doing.
Someone we asked sung to us and even danced. Here is what some people thought of Open evening.
"I am really enjoying Open evening and I have been doing this letter game that is great."
"I have been making a buzzing box in Y4 so I have been painting and working on my box."
"I am real enjoying Open evening, can I tell you that Henry the 8th was a really fat King."
Everyone thought that Open evening was great.
We hope you have enjoyed reading about Open evening
