23 Jan 2008 - Year 4's victorious

Lickey hosted the Waseley "Family" 7-a-side football tournament for Year 4 today.  The other schools involved were Beaconside and Holywell.  All of the children did very well playing on a large and muddy pitch but it was Lickey that came out on top!

The team played particularly well against Holywell scoring two well made goals and they defended bravely against Beaconside who applied a lot of pressure.

This means that our team will now take part in the area finals at St Johns, Bromsgrove on Friday 1st February.

A big well done to Reece Reynolds, Jai Forrester, Hiram Mildner, Grace Clarke, Jade Colebrooke, Ciaran Killeen and Joe Revill.

Lickey 2 - 1 Holywell

Lickey 0 - 0 Beaconside
