The Team: Mrs Roberts (Language Unit Teacher), Mrs Jones and Miss Smyth (Teaching Assistants) and Miss Hunt (Speech & Language Therapist), oh...and Poopsy Bear!

Mrs Roberts is so pleased to be back at Lickey Hills Primary School after completing her training and first year in teaching.

Mrs Jones has started her teacher training course this year so Miss Smyth has joined the team to work in the class when Mrs Jones is training.

It is hard to believe that one half term has gone already!

This week, we have had a lot of celebrating to do.

Firstly, Class LUR were presented with the Lunchtime Trophy.

In assembly on Friday, Luke was awarded with a certificate for 'Pupil of the Half Term'. This means he has collected the most house points in our class. It was a close thing!!!

Brandon was given a class certificate for Achievement - he has worked very hard this half term.

Hannah was given the class award for Citizenship.

Finally, Ben and Tom were given Gold Award certificates for their positive learning behaviour.

On Friday, Chloe, Hannah and Charlotte had their Democracy Day Dinner with the rest of Year 6. The rest of us had our 'End of Half Term' treat and had biscuits and juice while watching 'Nanny McPhee'.

In the last few weeks, we have been visited by Mrs Marshman, Olivia and Chloe. All are well and send their best wishes.

For your information, our topic work about the Victorians and Micro-organisms carries on through the next half term.
